I’ve been using these awesome baggies for a few years now and have great faith in this product. As long as you keep them in a good condition, they reliably block out the smell. I personally like to use two smell proof baggies together but that’s just to stop me from getting paranoid.

They are made of a special tear resistant plastic that ensures they have a more than reasonable life span and as long as they are kept in good condition, they are entirely air/water proof.

Smell Proof baggies come in a number of different sizes to suit every ones preference, ranging from an extra extra small to extra large smell proof baggies.

Storage is always quite a major problem. You want to keep your precious stash as fresh as a daisy and smelling as tasty as the day it was picked, but you don’t want that smell leaking out into your house, making it quite clear that you are keepiong weed in your home.

420 Science make incredible cannabis related products and my latest discovery of theirs are the incredible 420 Glass Jars.

First of all these jars look incredible. I had a really hard time deciding which design to buy as there are so many. In the end I chose a nice plain design with a simple silver leaf, but there were many, many more to choose from.

Next up, size. These jars from extra small, which are large enough to house a couple of good sized buds, right the way up to extra extra large which can store up to a whopping 56 grams!

I had no need for anything quite so large as that so I took the middle ground and opted for a medium. These jars are still reasonably big and can store up to 10 grams easily.

Honestly, the 420 jars are a wise investment for anyone keeping their stash at home. My weed remains fresh for as long as I store it.

The glass is really good and thick, and from experience I can confirm that it will sustain a knock or two (I just wouldn’t recommend throwing it around on purpose!) I am amazed at how well it keeps smells in! This maybe in part due to the vacuum sealing. The jars have a strong seal that vacuum seals the freshness in. They aren’t called ‘pop top’ jars for nothing; you can hear the hiss of air escaping as you open them.

One of the major benefits of these jars is the fact that they are made from glass which is a non corroding material. Other types of storage, such as metal, plastic or wood will, over time begin to corrode and can either absorb scents or even taint your herbs with their own chemical make-up. Not so with glass storage! Glass storage is so pure and perfect that, according to U.S. News and World Report and the NRDC (Natural Resources Defense Council), they are the best solution for long term storage of water. This is due to the fact glass is made from all natural and non-toxic materials. So there you go! Not only can it keep your stash fresh but in an emergency apocalypse situation you could use your 420 Jar for long term water storage and survival! Can you afford not to get one?!

The right ashtrays can make or break your living space. Gone are the days where your ashtray was a purely functional glass or metal slab, now ashtrays have aesthetics, as well as practicality.

One little word of advice regarding your ashtray. Don’t let it become completely filled with dog ends and half forgotten spliffs, overflowing with ash, used chewing gum and whatever other nasties may be lurking in there. Empty it out regularly and your home will look and smell much nicer. It may seem obvious, but I have more than one friend whom, whenever visit, clearly hasn’t emptied their ashtray in days, and frankly that’s disgusting.

Obviously you can spend as much or as little on an ashtray as you wish, but I prefer ones that say a little something about my personality. You can buy ashtrays that are almost works of art in their beauty! Ceramic, glazed, hand painted; there are so many beuatiful ones available.

Smokeless ashtrays are available, which actually suck smoke into them when you rest them in the ashtray, making the surrounding air cleaner and less stale. Push down ashtrays are great for keeping your living space a little tidier, as the ash and dogends are hidden out of view (still not an excuse for not emptying at least once a day though!)

And of course, there are still those plain glass slabs that simply hold all the ash and dead butts. It’s what you smoke that’s important, after all!

What to Look For in a Tobacco Tin

Choosing the right tobacco tin is a task that involves looking closely at size, function, design, and affordability. Fortunately, it is possible to take all these aspects into consideration and come up with the ideal tin for your purposes. Here are some examples of what to look for.

When it comes to size and function, consider whether you are looking for a tin to store your stash around the house, or something that is a bit more portable. A larger tin that is somewhat decorative is likely to be great for home use, while something that fits neatly into a jacket pocket is a good idea for on the go. With either size, make sure the lid to the tin seals firmly, so the contents are kept fresh at all times.

The design is also an important consideration. Some people prefer a thin and somewhat narrow tin with a small lid at the top, while others enjoy a box style tin with a lid that is the same length and width as the main section of the storage area. Go with something that you find appealing to the eye, and you’ll be much happier with the purchase.

Last, there is always the matter of price. You can spend a great deal of money on a tobacco tin, especially if you want one that stores stash lighters, flints, and rolling papers along with the tobacco and herbs. But there are also some bargains out there, especially if you are willing to look around a bit.

Check your local head shop, including second hand stores and charity shops, since you never know what will turn up in those establishments. Don’t forget to look for online bargains as well. With a little effort, you can find a tin that is ideal for your purposes and within your budget.

It’s really important to use good quality materials for your reefer rituals.
Let’s take a look at the things you will need:

1. Rolling Papers

The better the rolling papers, the better your joint will smoke and the fewer unwanted chemicals you will inhale.
There are all sorts of good, natural papers on the market so it’s worth trying them out. Some of the best include OCB, Smoking, and Kulu. Rips are also great fun – you can tear these off at any length to get whatever size spliff you want!

Bad papers come far too thick so you take in a lot of carbon, they’re
bleached white and often the gum doesn’t stick properly. This gets very
frustrating, especially if you’ve already smoked a couple of fat ones!

2. Roach

Roach is used to filter much of the tar and carcinogens as well as stopping
you from getting bits of tobacco and weed in your mouth. It also gives a good
shape to the joint and makes passing it around much more practical.

Roach can be made from many things that you can find around the house, such
as empty papers packets, thick magazine covers, family get-together invitations…
As long as it’s thick enough to stay straight once you’ve rolled
it and thin enough for a reasonable sized joint end – well, you’ll
get the hang of it.

Some professional tokers prefer to buy roach rather than faff around tearing
things up all the time. It comes in little ready made books of strips that are
just the right size and thickness. Some even come with perforated lines to make
them easier to roll. It’s good to know that people get paid to think about
the true needs of the toking community!

3. Mixture

If you prepare a decent mix, rolling your joint will be much easier. Take time
to remove lumps or sticks if you’re using herb. Aim to get your mix as
fine as possible. A grinder is an invaluable tool for regular herb smokers.
Grinders crush up your bud so that you’re left with a mix that you can
spread evenly into your joint. A grinder is a good, economical investment –
you’ll find your weed lasts longer once it’s ground. A pestle and
mortar is another option, or a decent pair of scissors can also suffice.

If you’re using hash, try to crumble it into a fine powder as you put
it into your joint. You don’t want large lumps to get in there – they
always fall onto your best trousers and burn holes when you’re smoking
your joint. These lumps are called hot-rocks. The way your hash crumbles does
depend on the type and quality. If you need a hash grinder you can get these
at most good head shops.

Tobacco is generally used in joints to aid burning, to make your weed last
longer and to stop you getting too wasted too quickly. However, if you’re
using weed (not hash) a pure cannabis joint is a total treat.
