How To Roll A One Skin Joint

You will need:

  • Kingsize rolling papers
  • Roach material
  • Herb and tobacco mix
  • Grinder or scissors

Step-by-Step:

  1. Make sure your mix is well ground. It’s best to use a grinder for your herbs or if you don’t have one you can use scissors. Mix your herbs and tobacco together.
  2. Spread your mix evenly into the rolling paper. The gummed side should be furthest away from you and facing upwards.
  3. Add your roach before you roll. This allows for a perfect, smooth fit. To make a roach, roll a piece of card into a tight hollow tube. Place this at one end of your mixture.
  4. Pick up the paper with everything in it and begin to roll from the middle outwards. Your thumbs should roll over the top of your joint and your index and forefingers should support the pressure underneath. You may need to do this a few times until you feel that the mix is fairly firm inside the paper. Be careful not to make your joint too tight though or you’ll end up blue in the face trying to toke on it. On the flip side – too loose and it will burn too quickly and possibly fall away and set alight to nearby upholstery and clothing.
  5. Tuck down the paper and ensure that the gum strip is facing you. Roll the excess paper around the joint, wet the gum and seal it up.
  6. Finally, pinch the excess paper at the end of your joint and twist it. This way you won’t lose any of your mix and it ensures your joint is tight enough.
